If you have made money on PTD today (and I do not mean recovered some of a loss after it fell from $2+) congratulations.
Your post though has only displayed your total lack of understanding of T/A.
T/A can not foresee every sudden movement in a share price especially when that movement is announcement driven. T/A is a monitor of crowd behaviour which gives an indication as to the direction of movement in a stock price. It is not a crystal ball.
I have not looked at the charts on PTD recently but there were a number of buy indicators around the sub $1.00 mark.
