Unfortunate that virtually all of the rebel issues are in the center/north, while BGS's tenements are all in the south. As is virtually Mali's entire population. The govt definitely needs to get the situation under control, but it is fairly isolated I reckon.

Yep Bamako has had a few terrorist incidents over the past couple of years and the atrocious situation in Timbuktu and Kidal is concerning.

I live in Sydney where a terrorist shot up a little Lindt cafe but I guess the atrocious conditions Aboriginals suffer in the outback concerns me too.

In all the time of many years that I have held BGS, the only issue that stopped our operations was Ebola - and that affected other African countries as well.

I'm with Malay, the terrorism thing has been done to death here over the years. Sorry, perhaps 'Death' is the wrong word to use here - but you know what I mean.
