Let me give you the drum about El nino conditions in East Aust.
It means that the atmosphere in the West pacific has a HELL of a lot LESS moisture in the atmosphere.
I.e LESS GHG effect. However what is FACT during these periods is that there is a greater ASR or Absorbed solar radiation.
Sorry Bell I know that maybe a little too complicated for you to grasp.
So in a nutshell.
La Nina - More clouds, more rain, greater amount of ghg effect and to finish off cooler weather.
El Nino - Less Rain, Less clouds, less GHG Effect and greater ASR. thus hotter conditions.
