I recall when Keating was Treasurer...he would droll on about a billion here and a billion there, the zero's mean nothing to these people...it wasn't their money so what should they care...nothing has changed with the ALP.
$500 million is still 500 x 1 million dollars. One million dollars is a fair bit of coin,..most people retire with less than half of that to fund them selves But good ole electricity Bill is more than happy to GIVE away more than 1,000 times what a very big number of the population have to retire on...yep not his money, so why would he care!!
These knuckleheads live off what we the public pays in tax...and they don't give a continental about we the people who actually pay their wages, the tax we pay through our sweat and tears, the overtime and the lost weekends at work, lost family time just to keep a roof over their heads. Yeah, the ALP, the "workers" friends....pffft, and they claim they are rooting for the worker...BS...they are rooting the worker more like it!
