Lets hope that at last, Slawson on our behalf, may actually facilitate Oil Production from the Sail and Anchor.
The last commercial oil find by SSN was Everett # 1-15 which was spudded May 7, 2011 and subject to atrocious delays and misadventures ( as usual ) and as such was only completed January 2012 when it was reported as producing 528 – 2112 BOPD ( extrapolated. )
There has been monumental failures in every well since, with correspondingly every conceivable problem encountered by SSN - in design, drilling, execution, surveying, equipment , subcontractors, decision making, shareholder relations, etc etc.
SSN’s motto is ‘Focusing on Oil Production’ which has almost become obsolete over the past two and a half years.
This may be the last ditch effort for SSN to start to regain any respect and faith from most of its long suffering shareholders.
C’mon Tezza - Find and produce some bloody oil at last or you may need to find yourself a night time job !
