PainChek signs marketplace partnership agreement with Point Click Care Inc11,2 the leading Care Management Software System provider to nursing homes (long term aged care) in the USA and Canadian markets. PainChek’s integration into the PointClickCare platform will provide a seamless transition of the PainChek pain assessments into the Nursing Home’s resident information system for the USA and Canadian markets. PainChek will commercialize and sell the PainChek App directly to Nursing Homes in Canada commencing in Q4 Calendar 2022, where PainChek already has regulatory clearance, and into the USA once it receives FDA de-Novo clearance (targeted for Q4 Calendar 2023). PointClickCare will promote the PainChek integration capability to its nursing home clients in USA and Canada through its website, and regularly scheduled face to face client events. It is estimated there are 15,000 nursing homes in USA with 1,700,000 beds3 and 2,000 long term care homes in Canada with 200,000 beds4. PainChek is currently looking to establish a local market presence in North America to accelerate this new partnership opportunity.
