Just on this one case a 10 day stay compared to a 38 week stay in a US hospital would cost how much less? Is it true in the US you generally need insurance cover to get treated, I know they have Obama care now but that only covers the ones with little or no income. Point being how much would this case cost less for the insurance company, the savings would be huge. If that been the case would not these insurance companies put a fair bit of pressure on hospitals to change their ways?
