The problem with the media, particularly around election time, is their propensity to 'guild the lillee' somewhat. One of the classics was when the media reported that Pauline Hanson (federal member at the time) said, "I don't represent Aborigines", which is the abridged version of what she said, the full sentence was, "I don't represent Aborigines, I represent ALL my constituents".
