In my banking days I had a client who doubled up on 19/9/87 in SPI and 10 year bonds, the day before the big crash. Overnight he lost $22.5m. Problem was it wasn't his money. I ended up as a witness at his fraud trial and he went down for 7 years. He lost everything including the literal farm. That was my best lesson.

Not an uncommon story unfortunately.

i had my Super through asviser and he had power of attorney. Cancelled that and went with Aust Super Member Direct.

Trust no one! Especially where money is concerned.
