The search continues but who is paying for it?
There were only 6 Australian on board but Australia appears to be paying most of the cost
They were mostly Chinese but China is not paying one cent towards the cost

Australia's responsibility is well over especially when there is not one scrap of evidence that it went down in our area

Now a report from Reuters states that the company doing the search is not experienced in this sort of work and could have very easily missed any wreckage

Isn't it time for Australia to pull the plug? if the other interested parties want to proceed we can always continue with their dollar, also of course Australia has had to borrow the money to do this search

The current search has cost $150 million and is expected to finish in May.
But Mr Truss said he hopes the insurers of the Boeing 777 will also pick up some of the cost for the extended search and prospective recovery operation.
While China will not help pay for the search, most of those onboard MH370 were Chinese nationals, so Beijing is insisting on a seat at the table when decisions are made.

Australia committed up to $60 million to search the 60,000 square kilometre
