As long as there's not some sort of liquidity event, which will suck cash into the vortex from all sources, including PMs.
Last time inflation related commodities took off, the FED clobbered them. Some may argue they don't have the ability to raise, but the narrative they've been spinning to the market is rates will come. What if they decide they won't and that's been part of the plan all along.
Got to watch those tricky FEDsters!
