Another doctor returning from treating ebola cases in Africa has been take to hospital after coming down with a fever in new York, this makes my blood boil, if you want to go and do your bit as they say for ebola patients then why the hell are you not placed in quarantine BEFORE you get on a flight back to the usa, how dumb to leave it to the individual to monitor temp and keep away from others during incubation period, when you think of how many people this could kill it seems they are just not taking it seriously...

A doctor who recently returned to New York from West Africa has been rushed to hospital with a fever to be tested for possible Ebola, the city's health department says.The man was rushed by ambulance from his home in Harlem to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday suffering from a 39.4 degree Celsius fever and nausea, The New York Post reported.New York City health department confirmed that a health care worker who had returned to the United States within 21 days from an Ebola-afflicted country was being tested for the virus. The patient had a fever and gastrointestinal symptoms and was being tested because of their "recent travel history, pattern of symptoms and past work," the department said.The preliminary test results are expected in the next 12 hours.Bellevue is one of three hospitals in Manhattan and eight in the state of New York equipped to handle patients diagnosed with Ebola.As a further precaution, New York City health department said it was actively tracing all the patient's contacts to identify anyone who may be at potential risk.
