In spite of Labor's attempt, at its last time in Office, to eliminate some of our hard won democratic principles, we are still a democratic country. The fact that Labor's ham fisted approach, when it last held power in Canberra, to demolishing our democratic ideals, stirred up enough emotion for its abhorrent proposal to be defeated before it even entered the legislature, is evidence, of itself, of our country's dedication to democracy.
But as Labor's attempt, in conjunction with the abhorrent PC Crowd, attempt to reduce our democratic ideals, have shown, we must always exert eternal vigilance. As recent events all over the ME, and in our own back yard have proven, we can never take our democratic values for granted.
