Not before time Australian based gold producers are basking in the sun amid a spurt in acquisition activity, bolstered production and tapering costs.
Gold in Australia dollar terms remains consistently above $1550aud an ounce, well above the five-year low of $1200 an ounce in 2010. More important, it is well above the average-per-ounce all-in sustaining cost (AISC).
