I would have to assume that Hawaii is a nice little place to go to if your looking for first class security. I don't think its quid pro quo, its just a nice place to go to if you know your going to be looked after.
Not a good look to be there while the country is seemingly burning down to the ground. All I can suggest is PM work passionately, however don't expect to receive some thankfulness for your efforts.
