One can clearly see the difficulty with dilution from blasting and mining narrow open pit ore bodies with large equipment from the photo in the qtrly … where skilled operators can make a huge different to milled grades.
I have no doubt PNR can make money going forward but the real key is increasing the higher u/g grade ore into the mill feed.
45452 t u/g … 7058 ozs ….. 37% gold from 16% of ore.
239083 t o/p …. 12150 ozs …. 63% gold from 84% of ore.
Developing Scotia u/g will be a game changer.
