So I guess by that logic the Spanish must have attacked the USS Maine since is was docked at Havanna (I didn't bring it up twice for nothing!). Oh no, wait, that was debunked.
Faulty logic doesn't get you closer to the truth mate. Ukraine also laid claim to those areas, and despite faulty logic spread by the Ukrainian government through western media, their own statements of 'concern'claiming the Russian's violations of their territory as evidenced here, reveal a concern for the defence of their airspace (Unless they weren’t being honest, take your pick). An appropriate response to this 'concern', would be to deploy air defence systems in Eastern Ukraine (Which borders Russia, a note for those 'geographically challenged').
