    Of course it is a contest. I still remember being given a colourful Spanish Mantilla, short, not much larger than a head scarf with scalloped edges, which I decided to wear to the theatre one evening. Of course, that was in Europe, so public transport was the way to go.
    Then, I wore my hair up on the crown and the mantilla just fell beautifully round my face. I got so many admiring looks, it was like a drug - I was hooked from then on to always use my fashion sense. I even figure on some American tourist photos when I wore my version of a 'dirndl' which was self-designed and self-made and more like a baroque dress with a deep cleavage.

    It is fun, guys - and yes everybody should be allowed to look

    alas - that was many years ago, but I still try to dress well.

    Young women absolutely 'need' to do this, and if they have any sense wouldn't want to deny an old guy the pleasure of admiring her; just look and remember to be respectful, just the same.
