The earth's climate has been fluctuating for billions of years. 8000 years ago it was about 3 deg hotter than now. Then it cooled for about 6000years. then rose again for about 1000 years to the medieval warm period, about 1000 years ago when it was about 1.5 deg higher than now. then the mini ice age at about 1650. It rose then cooled until late 1800s at the lowest point in thousands of years. The late 1800s is the base now for the global warming argument. They have picked the lowest point. On the log term chart the rise is minor and well within past levels. We have had 1 degree rise in 120 years...and the activists say we have a red alert! What RUBBISH
