So not sure if other people have had issues with NBN, but since friday night after the thunder storm in Sydney I've been without phone and internet and it's not likely to be restored anytime soon. I've called my service provider, they can't get anyone to fix this until mid October. I recently switched over to the NBN service from a reliable ADSL and landline. My neighbour is also in the same situatoin, waiting until 28th september til a tech can come to fix the NBN service in our street. Seems my wholle stree was affected by the storm. Does this seem ridiculous having to wait so long to repair a phone and internet service? I regret changing over to NBN the old landline lasted 40 years without an issue like this. I barley get mobile reception at my home, the landline is very important as i have an eldery parent to consider. What can I do? I can't change back to the copper. What a bloody joke this service is....
