Cashless will be like having an RSL membership card - I assume it will be called a Star Card - it is a one-off check. You put money into the machine, then to play you need your Star card in the machine. To gamble at a table, need your Star card to prove who you are. To withdraw money you press cashout and withdraw the Star Card, the money will transfer to the card, then you put your Star card into the cash machine, enter a PIN and collect the cash. Most players already use Star cards as points accumulate which gives them free food etc.... I am sure there will be plenty of staff to help set-up people with Star cards. Then the Casino will have their email details and will be able to provide advertising of shows on at the Casino, events, or incentives for them to come back and dine or play at the Casino - so there are also benefits of being cashless as you have all the players email addresses and contact details.

With Blackstone, I hope there is not a big donation to the Labour party if the licence moves. Blackstone have charmed the regulator and could probably do the same with the Government, however this will not be good for staff at the Casino, Blackstone have shown at the Crown that staff come second. If the Government cares about jobs, then the Star licence, should stay where it is. Fire a few more CEO's and Chairs, eventually they will get the message and the culture will change.
