The Military has already announced multiple new Ministers including for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (Aung Naing Oo) and Planning, Finance and Industry (Shein Win) which have oversight of the MIC. Very happy to defer to others who may know the Myanmar political spectrum better, but a quick google search shows both these men have been involved in Government investment decisions previously and are proponents of increased foreign investment and reduced taxes. One way or another, we are going to find out just how strong those strategic partnerships we've heard about really are. The greater risk may be foreign sanctions on the country.
