What does it mean shareholders voted in favour….in many case this statement is misleading to the general public!
In the majority of case, it actually means a minority of holders with large holding’s dictate the outcome in a supposedly a public company! In most area’s the word,, “Public” conjures up a voting system not based on holdings but one vote per shareholder!
Poll voting has transformed Public company to operate more like Proprietary company!
With all the debacle that has been happening in many companies the voting system needs to change!
