Even though this research note covers a north American company - MGX Minerals and their Driftwood Creek magnesite deposit - its is an interesting read as it give some insights into the magnesite market, supply/demand issues,  the China factor, etc.

Also of interest is the fact that MGX has partnered with Eaton Corp, an international power management company, and Highbury Energy who have developed a patent pending next generation dual-bed steam gasification technology.   Power is one of the major costs associated with milling magnesite, and partnering with these two provides MGX with long-term/low cost energy solutions, as well as financial support and engineering expertise.

Another interesting point is that AXE's subsidiary - Archer Energy & Resources Pty Ltd - owns PELA 567 which butts up to LCK's  subsidiary - ARP TriEnergy Pty Ltd - PELA 647.  Perhaps this is one of the "synergies" the two are exploring?

LCK also have a PELA (649) west of Cleve.

All the PELA's are applications, not granted, at this stage.
