Gina has bought into built capacity 16.5ktpa NdPr 3x current ex China demand, with a further 16.5ktpa projected, totalling 6x current ex China demand, and that requires not only a massive increase in NdFeB capacity but PMM & end product manufacture, all with the critical underlying requirement to be cost & IP competitive with China, a challenge that appears to be causing Tesla some grief atm.

Speculation would be far better directed at just how downstream mkts might be developed to justify anything like those projected oxide volumes, a task way beyond any individual, any 'mega' RE processor, and a huge challenge even for USG resources, and that's predicated on a stable political environment.

Frankly at this point I'm far more interested to see how Lynas goes placing 900tpm NdPr EOY and into next as a good indicator latent demand.
