Most of the sad statistics are very senior people such as those in the 90's so to preserve the elderly and to keep them alive and well in aged care homes we shut the world down but the problem is the infection rate is so high it causes mayhem in hospitals. i for one initially thought shut down was absurd thinking the flu was just as bad (60000 deaths in the USA in one year alone) but all we can do is abide by the advice and we all do our best to conform in order to stop the spread. I think a second wave will see many people frustrated and not so willing to play along as in the USA where many protest
