My thoughts are that the new Managing Director (King) & Chairman of the Board (McFarlane) both want to wipe the slate clean whilst they have the opportunity.
Therefore all future profit increases, capital increases etc.,will be attributed to their good management and they will be increasingly well regarded amongst their peers, and will receive future invitations to join Boards (the old boys clubs) and increase their remunerations when semi-retired.
I expect higher than normal provisions, transfers to reserves, therefore a much reduced dividend but shareholders to be modestly rewarded in 6 months and increasingly so as the next couple of years roll by.
Of course, this might all be derailed by future black swan events.
