Nexgen is a Canadian company listed on several stock exchanges including the TSX and NYSE. It was more recently also listed on the ASX. The market capital on any exchange is determined by the SP and the number of shares available for trading on each exchange. Only a proportion of shares are available on the ASX as CDIs where, for the ASX, one CDI is equivalent to one Canadian share. Since only a proportion of Nexgen shares are available on the ASX, the market cap. is less than the overall MC based on the total number of (Canadian) shares on issue. You will find the full number of shares issued if you go to the TSX and look at code NXE.
