Not new news but having been in a few towns and cities since demonetisation 3 weeks ago it is a fact that all ATMs in India have little or no cash. Worst hit are White label ATMs and the 2 big operators Tata and BTI have closed all ATMs as they cannot get cash. Transaction fee based operators are also affected badly as there is just not enough cash available to fill any ATMs - even bank owned ATMs. The cash shortage is likely to last until March 2017 when the forecast is that capacity to print new notes catches up with supply needed for ATMs. Not saying demonetisation will affect TSN longer term - but with no cash in ATMs you would expect revenues to be adversely affected for at least 3 months, maybe longer.
