mjp, you are being selective in what you want to exract from broecker.
I explicitly acknowledged Broecker views and respect his views. However it appears that many are happy to jump on the bandwagon and use his high standing in the scientific comunity to push the agw cause.
But are also happy ignore or ridicule his other points that contradict the general consensus that the current warm period is not unique.
So after you have highlighted his pro agw views i have highlighted his views on past data regarding past climate. Thus offering balance to the topic of Wally Broeker.

Do you acknowledge that he had opposing views to the mainstream regarding past climate i.e past 2000 years.
