    I've never posted on a religion/philosophy thread previously, and I doubt if I will ever make a habit of it. But I'll give many things a go once.

    I havn't read your prior posts or much of the thread, so excuse me if I miss your true point.

    Regarding the evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ (not his claims), is as stark, if not better, then most important persons of the period: Caesar; Herod, Cleopatra, or going back a bit further, Socrates, who also didn't write anything that we know of.

    Trust me when I say, and I am quite qualified to say, that the existence of JC is not really in dispute. If it is here, then there is your reason I won't be commenting further.
