Arafura has locked in guaranteed offtakes within a profitable price range, and is currently negotiating more. This will be in effect for 5 years from production start.
The Chinese manipulated NdPr price is largely irrelevant, and China’s attempt to stop a new RE mine with refinery has failed. Several years from now, with the planned ramped up usage of RE across several large industries, I’m fairly confident that the price won’t be $50.
