Prices for the 99% rare earth oxide have moved up to about RMB275,000-276,000/tonne($39,858-40,003/tonne) again this week and higher prices are still expected as market players have been expecting that Northern Rare Earth, the main rare earth producer in China, might again raise its listed prices for praseodymium/neodymium in March. And 99% praseodymium/neodymium metal is available in a wider range of RMB355,000-363,000/tonne($51,453-52,613/tonne), and much higher quoted prices of RMB365,000-367,000/tonne($52,902-53,192/tonne) are also being reported around the market.
