In a debate when your opponent is unable to counter credible evidence from a reliable source, a common technique is to challenge their opponents qualifications. This is why I didn't answer your question if I was either an economist or an environmentalist. The answer is that I don't hold formal qualifications in either field. I am a manufacturer with practical experience balancing input costs with output, at the same time as holding a lifelong interest in sustainability. I rely on advice from experts in their field and attach the link to the AEMO ISP which answers many questions as well as providing answers.

To your other question " do you want low carbon base load power for the future?' The answer which I've already provided is that as the mix of renewables rises, so does the importance of peak load to even out the gaps, at the same time as the concept of base load reduces.
