Well unlike others, Norway has been very thrifty, putting billions away for a rainy day, not so fortunate though are middle eastern and other big noters like Venezuela who are going to be up against it and possibly face some unrest now that the petrodollars are drying up.

I was in London the day Lehman brothers went bust, in fact I was on the spot, visiting the Docklands Museum when I noticed a lot of spivs wandering around with boxes at Canary Wharf as I walked back to the hotel. A casual enquiry to a cameraman revealed these were indeed the Lehman Bros 'experts'.
