One click to save hundreds as new power price ruling set for release
The ACCC’s report on retail electricity found that four out of five households (79 per cent) were paying equal to or more than the median price point when it looked at 5 million standard flat-rate retail contracts across the east coast.
Based on the current round of annual electricity prices, which expire in July, the ACCC said households could save up to $272 a year in NSW and $312 in Victoria by shopping around for a better deal.
