Giving massive tax cuts to high income earners if a global recession kicks in will be seen as the mother of all stupidity and more than likely wreck the Australian economy and lead to massive cuts in services by the LNP. We are only now recognising the damage John Howard did to this country with all his middle class welfare that is almost too difficult to remove from those who are now well and truly addicted to it (franking credits etc).
It remains to be seen whether this LNP Government can deliver on their so called promise of better economic management. Time will tell though and it may come back to haunt them at the next election in 2022.
