But only in the USA does all that make a material difference, because of time of measurement bias. That's unless you really insist it is reasonable to take temperatures that were recorded in the open sun without Stephenson Screens, and compare them with later Stephenson screen shaded temperature records.

You think that's OK solely because it misleads.

jopo only makes $10 a post as the other $1 is GST. Assuming he is being paid by some Yank outfit then he is earning valuable foreign income for Oz. And of course he pays tax on his income(?), but some of that is earmarked for India, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, ...
