You are correct about JCT! But this is about GE - and I don't believe one error disqualifies me - or anyone - from making a point for ever more.

Stefanov suggested I was out of touch and needed 'to get a grip' about my understanding of GE. He is entitled to that view - just as I am entitled to counter that I don't need to 'get a grip' because I have a different view about the relevance of silicon carbide chips to IoT and whether or not GE was likely to be referred to as a 'chipset manufacturer'.

Your conclusion that I 'had made my point' was not correct until I had actually responded to stefanov's 'point'. Which I have now - as have you!

I might take too strong a stand sometimes on facts or views I believe in, but one thing I do not do - like you and a few other here - is to attempt to psycho-analyse posters and set themselves up as 'gatekeepers' and arbiters of when posters should 'move on'.
