Just saw the news that the last auto manufacturer stops making cars in oz in 2017...
Since the Second World War the manufacturing industry was built around the auto industry ....directly providing thousands of jobs at Holden...Nissan..Toyota and Ford...
Many many ASX listed company's relied on these four company's to employ hundreds of thousands of people in related or unrelated Manufactoring industries...with these four company's used to help keep then in business...
We could simply say what's a few thousand jobs...but no it's not just this.it will send many more support industries to the wall....
These company's are now at risk and the loss of jobs will effect all companies from food....goods and service companies....the only industries that may not be effected would be the mining....oil gas and agriculture companies
Time to reassess the market....before 2017 Not to be under estimated.... IMO
