but we're civilised, huh?
like I've posted before....... the West is just so complacent about its religions.....
The Muslims are not. Islam appears to be a way of life, not just a religion.
And that's why Brucey's fear that Islam will one day dominate, may just come to pass..........unless Christians demonstrate their faith.
And this is nothing new....for decades the Muslims here in Australia have demonstrated that their belief in their religion is very real.....and ours appears to be not much beyond lip service....and at times not even that.
How many remember that over three decades back, an Eastern States mob were planning a TV series on the life of Christ? Portraying Him as a pot smoking, fornicating hippy?
That was knocked on the head in no uncertain terms....and it wasnt the Christians that did it..... the Australian Council of Muslims declared that if they dared to run that...... (read slashing gesture across throat).....
I thought that was beautiful at the time....that they would stick up so forcefully for Christ, whom Islam regards as a Prophet..........and was disgusted that Christians said nothing.
There was a message there in that, which still stands today.
