Call it a logical fallacy or call it a false premise. But my question is on the past Temp - Co2 cycles. Sea levels were some 8 meters higher than they are now and at almost a 1/3rd less the Co2 ppmv than now if you accept past observations. All be it low resolution. But observations nonetheless.
