A great question @coto, yet still quite difficult to predict since announcements / earnings / quarterly activities / cash flow reports / etc., can result in unpredictable responses from the market (i.e.: large increases in share price, large decreases in share price, or even no change in share price). Essentially a 'coin-flip'. Not a bad situation if you've managed to accumulate shares at a decent price well below where the company is currently trading, but always precarious when short-term trading or if you've entered nearby the current share price. Can be neutralised effectively with the use of options, when available, however this is not applicable with PDI.

Back to the situation at hand, I am personally bullish on gold and agree with your outlook there - will this translate across to PDI? I hope so, to reward the patience of PDI holders. As always, watch the market REACTION over the next week with the next announcement/s expected by the market (as shown in the chart below) - we all know what happened with the recent announcement in December (Ann: Drilling at Bankan Delivers More Positive Results) - the market didn't even notice, shareholders didn't care, and the overriding technicals took the stock to consecutive lower lows for the next couple of months, as shown below (until last week's price action).
