It reads like a movie script. The biggest data leak in history exposes trillions of dollars stashed in exotic tax havens, enabled by a deep web of corruption.

But the Panama Papers aren't a movie. They reveal a sickening reality where hospital beds and school desks are pawned off to fund corporate tax handouts. And our very own Prime Minister Turnbull is playing a starring role.

In the face of this explosive corporate corruption, Mr Turnbull's touted Budget priority is a corporate tax cut.1 You heard right. Standing against a backdrop of a global corporate corruption, and revelations that a third of Australia's billionaire corporations don't pay a single cent in tax, Turnbull has the gall to tell us that we are the ones who must learn to "live within our means".2

It's time for us to rewrite the script on corporate tax dodging – literally.
