    the people who I met - loved their country and worked for the betterment of it - but, it was an impossible task

    so, when do you pull the pin? -- when do you see the bombs coming closer and closer and killing your children --

    you seem to be arguing that the Jews who stayed in Germany ------------- did the right thing - as opposed to leaving when it looked wise to do so

    but, they stayed - to be herded into trains if they weren't killed in riots - and the trains took them - children and all to gas chambers -

    you think that they should have stayed??????????

    I think that's pretty silly -------------- I think they should have got out sooner

    there are just some regimes that you cannot fight ------------ and what is the point if the situation is hopeless?
