Everyone is forgetting the fundamentals. In January we learnt about negative pressure rooms. Two weeks ago the WA CHO was advised of the hotels including the Mercure which were at risk. 8 days ago McGowan was made aware. The blame lies with the inaction and actions taken from 3 months of previous experience. Similarly as stated the 12pm deadline creates a higher risk element with the dispersion that followed. If we do not actively manage the risks as they are understood then we are slow learners. Shifting responsibility to its not mine in the first place is diversionary and just pure politicking.
