Best you reread my post. I corrected the misrepresentation that jaw crushers are big by definition, not that a mini/micro crusher would be used. To take it to mean anything else seems to me be just silly but oh well.

Over 3 tonnes of hydraulic fluid in a crusher? I’d like to see such a unit if it exists but that’s neither here nor there as any machinery used would be sized to match the task- if a crusher will be needed at all.

Just because the biggest machine is really big doesn’t mean it’s what must be used. To assert such is again something I see as silly but could also be misleading, whether intended to be or not.

You also used the term ‘infinitely more expensive’, which to call gross exaggeration would be gross understatement but that’s ok as most of us know what infinite actually means.

Couple of PE1100's will probably do the trick, plenty going around - maybe 3, taking into consideration maintenance down time.
