Planning is currently well advanced to acquire a 400km2 3D seismic survey to cover the field and surrounding areas which demonstrate high prospectivity.
A preliminary field development plan is being developed for exploitation of Unit1B and an additional two wells focussing purely on production from Unit1B are being planned to be drilled by the end of 2024 with the aim of initiating international oil export from Cuba.
ok so another 2 well in 1B this year for an easy 5-7k bopd. We can only assume a pad permit will be announced imminently together with FD plans and a 3D seismic contract and then we’ll be off to the races.
By the end of the year we could be trucking 10kbopd from 2 pads.
