The coal industry? Are you referring to the dirty coal that we can't use for electricity supply, the coal that we are happy to dig up and export in huge volume, to countries like Japan ( who claim to have High Efficiency, Low Emission power stations), China and India (who do not make this claim). I wonder what they do with our coal? Oh, that's right, they use it to provide cheap power to manufacture cheap goods to sell back to us because the cost of electricity here makes manufacturing not cost effective. Better to follow our coal to China. And they make the solar panels and I imagine they also make the wind generator parts so we can have renewable energy. Stop sending the coal overseas if it is so bad to use it. Leave it in the ground. How hypocritical are our leaders??
