Anyway, that potential production number, plus the higher grades encountered certainly does suggest a big valuation relative to those NPV's on those smaller projects.
After tax NPV of just under $2billion on a project targeting 30,000tpa. Based on that, a 75,000tpa project could potentially be worth $5billion.
I'm sure there are other variables involved but that's a guide on potential after tax NPV. Maybe the UD$1billion (which would still make me very happy) would be selling this way to cheap. Hence the other numbers being discussed at well above $1billion.
A good price and takeover would be much easier than trying to decide what to do if it lists instead!

Im an investor here, and understand the grades comparison, however surely we wont be getting a premium given any output is at least 5 years away? Lots can change between now and then. Maybe someone who knows more about how this usually works can help me out here.

as you say chuk, there will be other variables involved, and much will ride on the JORC. Exciting times none the less!
